Amazfit Pace Review

Hi Guys, Its been quite a while since I unboxed the Amazfit Pace smart watch. so lets quickly get started
The first thing that impressed me was the way the Amazfit Pace smart watch looks. The ceramic dial, the sporty strap & the trans reflective screen makes it look great. It weighs around 54 gms and feeling great on your wrist for long periods. Setting up the smart watch was very quick and easy. My overall first impression was great. The next thing I was eager to know about was the usability of this piece of tech as a smart watch and a fitness tracker. You all know by now that I am not much of a fitness person, tough I have used the Xiaomi Mi band HRX edition and the Fitbit charge 2 in the past and they were great.

The Amazfit pace has some really good feature that makes it a great choice. You can receive notifications for incoming calls, messages and other applications. You also get WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity. The smart watch comes with 512 MB RAM and 4 GB of internal storage for your music collection. You can connect a Bluetooth earphone to the smart watch to listen to music. You can also control music playing on your phone via the smart watch. Playing around with different watch faces is really interesting and there are tons of watch faces available online.


This is a GPS-enabled sports smart watch so you can leave you phone at home during your workout sessions. It also counts your steps, calories burnt, average pace and average speed. It also displays Heart-rate (bmp) graph. There is an optical heart rate sensor and you get various ways to measures your heart rate (continuously, manually and during sports activity). For fitness experts the watch also gives you a weekly summary of your workouts. Amazfit Pace helps keep a track on your sleep though Its difficult to say anything about the accuracy. lastly the Amazfit Pace has an IP 67 rating that makes it water and dust resistant.


The amazfit Pace has 1.34" screen with a resolution of 320 x 300 px. The screen visibility is great outdoors. Thanks to the trans reflective display though screen brightness and colors could have been better. The trans reflective display helps in getting battery life of up to 5 days and in my test this stands true. On an average with notifications and frequent fitness activities i was easily able to get 3-4 days of battery.

 With all these features the Amazfit Pace is a great blend of a good looking smart watch and a very capable fitness tracker.
