The Vivo Y95 is a great looker and packs some really great features. Let's see if it's worth the price it sells for.
Before we talk about the Vivo Y95, let me tell you that the Vivo Y95 is sponsored by Tec Zone that's an
electronic store which is a one stop solution to all your technology needs.
Design: The glossy color back and the almost
bezel less screen with a water drop notch make it look up market too. Vivo has
been getting it right with other phones as well such as the Vivo V11 Pro. The
back being glossy plastic picks up finger smudges and scratches very easily so
its better to protect it with a case. The Vivo Y95 comes with a 6.22" IPS
LCD screen with a resolution of 720 x 1520 pixels though I wish it came with a
Full HD+ display as the phone sells out for about Rs 16,000. Vivo Y95 comes
with face unlock and fingerprint sensor at the back.
Software: The phone comes with Vivo's Fun Touch
OS that's just ok and pretty much usable. Vivo Y95 comes with face unlock that
is the most secured though it unlocks really fast. The customer UI has various
themes to customize the UI.
Camera: The Vivo Y95 comes with some very
interesting camera sensors both at the front and the rear. We get a dual camera
setup at the back with a 13MP primary sensor with f/2.2 aperture & a 2 MP
secondary camera with f/2.4 used for depth sensing. In the front we get a 20MP
selfie camera with f/2.0 sensor. The selfies are generally good though sometime
comes out overexposed.
The Vivo Y95 is powered by the Snapdragon 439
chipset (12nm chipset) coupled with the Adreno 505 GPU. The phone does a great
job in handling daily task and is absolutely not a gaming device. Vivo Y95 comes in just one variant with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage with
support for MicroSD card. The phone packs a 4030 mAh battery which does last
forever. I only wish that this phone was offered at sub Rs 10,000 price.
