Heads up, iPhone fans in India! Exciting news - the iPhone 15, iPhone 14, and other models have received price cuts of up to Rs. 5,900 thanks to a reduction in import duty

Hey, check this out! Apple has just slashed the prices of its latest iPhone models in India following a reduction in import duties. The price drop ranges from as low as Rs. 300 to as high as Rs. 6,000, making it a pretty sweet deal for iPhone enthusiasts. This comes after the Indian government announced a decrease in the basic customs duty on smartphones during the Budget 2024.

For instance, the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus have seen a price drop of Rs. 300, with the new prices set at Rs. 79,600 and Rs. 89,600, respectively, for the 128GB storage variant. Even the iPhone 14 models are now more affordable, starting at Rs. 69,000. The iPhone 13 and iPhone SE (2022) also have lower price tags, making them even more enticing to potential buyers.

But wait, there's more! The iPhone 15 Pro models have received significant price drops, making them even more appealing. The iPhone 15 Pro 128GB now sells for Rs. 1,29,800, down from Rs. 1,34,900, while the iPhone 15 Pro Max is available for Rs. 1,54,000, reduced from the original price of Rs. 1,59,900.

This news comes at an interesting time, as global smartphone shipments have been on the rise. IDC reported a 6.5 percent increase in smartphone shipments in the second quarter of 2024. Despite Apple surpassing Samsung as the best-selling smartphone company in 2023, Samsung still leads in devices shipped for Q2 2024, with a market share of 18.9 percent. Exciting times in the smartphone world!
